About RoboMoto

Achimota School Robotics Club

OAA1983 are thrilled to announce the launch of the Achimota School Robotics Club, RoboMoto, as the centrepiece of our 40th Anniversary Legacy Project. Our aim is to inspire and motivate students to explore the world of robotics and engineering, develop programming and problem-solving skills, and have fun in the process.

Managed by appointed STEM qualified members of staff, club meetings will be held regularly, at which students will use various platforms such as LEGO and Raspberry Pi kits to learn about robotics in a practical way. Through hands-on experiences, students will work in teams to design, build, and program their robots, exploring concepts such as mechanics, electronics, and software engineering. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to participate in robotics competitions and attend conferences locally and worldwide with the support of local sponsors.

The club will be open to students of all ages and skill levels, with no prerequisites to join. We encourage students who are interested in STEM subjects to join RoboMoto and explore the exciting world of robotics and engineering. The aim of the club is to provide a fun and engaging way for students to learn about robotics, programming, and engineering.

By providing the necessary guidance and resources from partners including the Ghana Robotics Association, RoboMoto will help students develop valuable skills that will benefit them in their future careers, not only in technology and engineering but also in other fields that require critical thinking.

Welcome on board to RoboMoto in 2023, sponsored by OAA1983!
